All five character prototypes from Chronicles of the Elohim - Evangelion, are finished with paint. Soft goods are on their way. Now we prep to send these figures to production. The factories are ready, they are just waiting on us. More on this in a moment…
These may be some of our favorite characters out there right now, there is nothing out there quite like them and seeing them come together in a 1/12 scale has confirmed what we hoped - this direction feels right. We have also worked diligently to standardize some of the parts across the lineup; it opens up consistency across the characters and, more importantly, brings production costs down. These are the kinds of decisions that set a first launch up properly.
We spent last Sunday at the Geek Meet Indy comic and toy convention. We had a blast being a part of that show and we met some amazing creators while we were there!
We have a bunch of conferences and conventions coming up this year still. Our next show will be a local one called Karvar Kon in Newark, Ohio at the Cherry Valley Lodge/Hotel on July 11th. If you are in the neighborhood on that day, grab a ticket and come say ‘Hi!’. We would love your feedback on the current designs and where you think this line of could/should go.
Now the fun part….PRE-ORDERS
We have made the decision to bypass Kickstarter and go directly to you, the people. We have seen genuine excitement around what we are doing and believe we can make this work without the popular crowdfunding platform. We are opening preorders this September, and will keep the preorders open until January 2027. There is a lot of strategy with this plan which we will unpack as we get closer to September, but with this timeline, it will give us the best chance of doing this right.
